The Southern Cross International Music Festival, under the umbrella of the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University, (QCGU) and endorsed by the WASBE (World Association for
Symphonic Bands and Ensembles) Association aims to unite ensembles of the highest calibre in an event that allows for musical excellence, the finest educational outcomes and cross cultural exchanges.
Southern Cross International Music Festival
June 7 - 10, 2013
ENSEMBLES: Youth and Adult Orchestras, Wind Bands, and Choirs will be selected by audition.
VENUES: Griffith University Conservatorium of Music, Queen Street Mall
ADJUDICATION: The festival has an optional adjudication in the concert hall at the Conservatorium of Music.
Head of the Faculty and Festival is Mr Ralph Hultgren (the Australian Representative for WASBE and mastermind of this festival).
